Journeys With Purpose concludes the integration of Niarra Travel

Friday 24th January 2025 – London, UK: Journeys With Purpose (“JWP”) announces today that it has concluded the integration of parts of Niarra Travel (“Niarra”) into its business. Both companies share a similar vision and mission – to make travel a force for good in conservation, communities, culture and local economic livelihoods.

With this integration, JWP has assumed responsibility for the majority of Niarra’s client book, secured elements of its valuable IP content and onboarded key members of their team; including the expansion in its leadership team with Natalia Sanchez as Head of Marketing and Lottie Cameron as Impact Journey Specialist.

Duncan Grossart, Founder & Chair of JWP, said: “We are delighted to conclude this transaction with the team and board of Niarra. Niarra is an exceptional brand, with closely aligned values and mission to our own. Its guests, content and team are a brilliant complement to our rapidly developing impact business.”

Lindsey Walter, Managing Director of Niarra, said: “The board of Niarra is excited that JWP is the new home for a number of its clients, several staff and some of our content. The brands are aligned and we wish every success to JWP going forward.”

OUR FOCUS - THE IBERÁ NATIONAL PARK:

This extraordinary wetland, the largest in Argentina, is home to 30% of the biodiversity in the country including endangered species such as the pampas and marsh deer, the maned wolf and grassland birds like the strange-tailed tyrant.

In 2005, what was to become one of the largest rewilding programs in the Americas was started, with the goal of restoring keystone species that had been extirpated from Iberá through hunting and habitat loss and were extinct in the region, the Province or, in some cases, the country.

As the rewilding program developed, the cultural identity of Iberá began to recover alongside the ecosystems and natural processes, impacting a total population of 100,000 people who surround the park.

Today, Iberá stands as one of the world’s most successful ongoing conservation missions.
