Malawi, known as the Warm Heart of Africa, is a welcoming nation that brings together breathtaking landscapes, rich cultural heritage and pioneering conservation efforts.
Lake Malawi is the country’s lifeblood. Visitors can explore this UNESCO World Heritage site’s crystal-clear waters through snorkelling, kayaking and sustainable fishing practices, all while supporting local conservation efforts. Meanwhile, Liwonde National Park offers exceptional wildlife encounters, from river safaris past hippos and elephants to guided game drives through its thriving wilderness.
Once depleted by poaching, Majete Wildlife Reserve flourishes as a sanctuary for the Big Five, attracting wildlife enthusiasts eager to witness a conservation success story. Extensive wildlife restoration efforts have also revitalised Nkhotakota Wildlife Reserve, positioning it as another prime ecotourism destination.
If you’re looking for a destination with heart, it’s Malawi. We’ve seen so many conservation success stories come to life here, and from the waters of Lake Malawi to the Big Five roaming its reserves, it’s simply an incredible destination for those seeking adventure with a purpose.

This extraordinary wetland, the largest in Argentina, is home to 30% of the biodiversity in the country including endangered species such as the pampas and marsh deer, the maned wolf and grassland birds like the strange-tailed tyrant.
In 2005, what was to become one of the largest rewilding programs in the Americas was started, with the goal of restoring keystone species that had been extirpated from Iberá through hunting and habitat loss and were extinct in the region, the Province or, in some cases, the country.
As the rewilding program developed, the cultural identity of Iberá began to recover alongside the ecosystems and natural processes, impacting a total population of 100,000 people who surround the park.
Today, Iberá stands as one of the world’s most successful ongoing conservation missions.
