				DISCOVER THE JOURNEY
Stretching across the spine of South America, the High Andes hold some of the continent’s most fragile and least explored ecosystems. Within these landscapes, life has evolved at the very edge of endurance.
This purpose-led expedition traces Argentina’s ecological arc from wetland to mountain, revealing how communities, scientists and conservationists are uniting to safeguard the country’s wilderness. Guided by NGO Natura Argentina, we’ll explore three pioneering conservation frontiers: the great salt lagoons of Ansenuza, where flamingos gather by the thousands, the montane forests of Catamarca where the Andean condor still soars above ancient valleys; and the rugged sierras of Famatina, where endemic species cling to survival.
Across these wild frontiers, culture and conservation converge. Each encounter with local guardians, naturalists and artisans deepens our understanding of how people and place sustain one another. This is more than a journey through Argentina – it is a passage into its living landscape, a story of renewal, resilience and reconnection with the wild.

															WHAT TO EXPECT
This journey ventures deep into Argentina’s landscapes, places where wilderness and culture are bound together by the pulse of renewal. Alongside Natura Argentina’s team, you’ll witness the quiet transformation of a nation reclaiming its wild heritage.
The experience begins in Buenos Aires, where the elegance of city life meets a spirit of creativity and resilience – a fitting prelude to the wild frontiers beyond. From here, the journey unfolds northward, across vast horizons and shifting ecologies. At Ansenuza, dawn breaks over mirror-like lagoons as thousands of flamingos stir the water into pink clouds. In Catamarca, you’ll walk beneath the shadow of the condor, guided by those who call these heights home. And in the ancient sierras of Famatina, you’ll trace the contours of a land still shaped by its ancestral guardians, where conservation is not a project, but a way of life.
Evenings invite reflection: insightful fireside conversations, shared meals that celebrate the flavours of each region, and stays in estancias and lodges that honour their surroundings. This is a journey not of distance, but of connection. It’s an immersion into the wild soul of Argentina and the people determined to protect it.
															CONSERVATION IMPACT
Natura Argentina is transforming conservation in South America. Moving beyond protection to regeneration, they are turning isolated reserves into connected, thriving landscapes. Their work restores ecosystems, revives native species and empowers communities to become active guardians of the land.
On this journey, you are more than a guest, you are part of that transformation. Your presence and support contribute directly to research, habitat restoration and community-led programmes that safeguard Argentina’s wild places. This is a chance to step into action and walk alongside those who protect and nurture the land. You’ll witness conservation in motion and help shape a future where nature and culture thrive together.
